Earth is like an Internal Combustion Engine

Just imagine this,

If earth, the very and only planet we live on, is an internal combustion engine.
No, it is not so hard to imagine. OK, here is to begin with;

The planet's core is the most hot place, why? Because it stores a large amount of magma from billion years ago as the planet was created. Planet is a moving object in space, it rotates and move in circle around the sun, called revolution. The system had been stable and steady for billion years. This system of nature had reached its balance state.

The outer layer of the planet is cooler and had formed a safe layer for living forms like us to live on. The surface has two components; soil and water. Both important components had also reached their state of natural balance. The terrains had naturally given the planet climates, natural cycle of resources and life itself. The combination had grown vegetation, that helped to host so many varieties of plant and animal species. All of them were also in a state of natural balance as they needed each other in their food chains and life cycle.

Imagine the planet's core is the engine's combustion chamber to keep the earth moving and keep the steady state of its natural balance. The planet deeper layers filled with lubricant oil. This oil keeps the engine smooth. Engine needs a cooling system, and so as this earth covered by water to keep the engine in an acceptable or normal temperature. The ocean is the cooling system of earth.

Everything was perfect. until...
A rough life form called human started to pump the oil out and burn it. Just like a virus, eating and destroying other life to preserve its own. Human hunts animals, cuts down trees, destroying the food chains. Human exploits and consumes almost everything to exhaustion and extinction. The balance has became imbalance. Everything is affected.

Not only that. Human pumps out the oil and burn it in their machines. Oil makes them rich so they will not stop to the last drop of oil in this planet. Remember, every engine needs lubricant oil. As the oil sucked out, the engine heats up. The planet temperature rises up. The ocean water is no longer enough to overcome the heat. The cooling system begins to fail.

The earth north and south poles store large amount of reserved water in ice formation. Then it begins to melt down to add up more water, to compensate to the extra heat.

This planet is struggling for survival. To keep itself moving. To keep up with the natural balance.
This is what is happening now. As long as human still exploits oil, Earth will still suffer.
Then it will reach its global exhaustion. No more ice to melt. Not enough vegetation for the air and atmosphere. The climate changes radically and randomly. The engine will heat up and the heat will breakdown the chemical composition of the soil. The soil will no longer support life. Life on Earth will perish. The engine then will collapse. The combustion chamber walls will crack and the whole system break down. Magma will flow and climb to the surface and burn everything, soil, water, atmosphere, Everything.

God created us to learn and preserve nature. Not destroy it.
We live to be part of nature. To become one with nature. To be able to listen and feel it.
We can still live a prosperous life on this planet without destroying it.
I know it can be done! And it must be done!

The Earth is suffering. We need to act now!
We owe it to our children, and our children's children.

ACT!

Interesting analogy. Well put.
Human can destroy and save Earth. I hope we can save it before it is too late.
